I am thankful for the opportunity to have served a 21 year law enforcement career before entering the mortgage business in 2001. The past eight years have been very rewarding as I have met many new people who are now clients for life. I enjoy getting to know everyone on a professional level while maintaining a transparency for others to know me more personally.

I started my law enforcement career in Juneau, Alaska in 1980. In 1989, I moved to Snohomish County to take employment with the Everett Police Department. I was promoted in each department to the rank of Sergeant and was awarded by both departments as “supervisor of the year”. I am honored by those awards; however it is only my personal commitment to lead by example that led to this recognition.

In 2001 I decided on a career change and entered the mortgage business as a partner with my wife. I “made it my business to know the business.” By 2004, I was asked to manage a large are of other mortgage professionals in NW Washington and Eastern Washington which I did up to the time I joined Mortgage Advisory Group. I am happy to share my years of experience in the mortgage business with my clients as we make decisions together.
